Amicus Committee

NELA-NJ petitions to appear as amicus curiae (friend of the court) in employment litigation that supports our Organization’s mission of advancing employee rights and serving lawyers who advocate for equality and justice in New Jersey workplaces. The cases in which NELA-NJ seeks to appear as amicus are those that present crucial issues implicating the rights of employees in the workplace. Whether a particular case seeks to expand or restrict the legal rights of employees, challenge an existing rule of law or create a new one, NELA-NJ’s Amicus Committee works tirelessly to obtain the best result possible for all employees in our State and the attorneys who represent them.

The members of NELA-NJ’s Amicus Committee are all seasoned litigators with extensive experience in appellate advocacy.
