In early December 2014, the Supreme Court of New Jersey will hold oral argument in Lippman v. Ethicon, 432 N.J. Super. 378 (App. Div. 2013) , which addresses the purported job duties exception to the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (“CEPA”) — our State’s whistleblower law. NELA-NJ, along with twenty-six other organizations, submitted an amicus brief in this important case and NELA-NJ was granted permission to participate in the oral argument on behalf of our amici. Andrew Dwyer will argue on behalf of NELA-NJ. View the Supreme Court oral argument.
